HASEL

^{"Hasel" means in Assyrian my place, my origins. Romane was inspired by Assyrian folk dances by recreating a dance through video. This dance is a ritual, made up of gestures chosen and repeated by two dancers. They trace a territory and compose their own gestural language in search of their deep origins, becoming almost obsessive. This body work was thought out and thought out between the dancers and the artist.
